The Turner family has been friends of Sonrise for many years, finding various ways to serve and be a part of the incredible vision for families and the growth of the Kingdom of God. They are pleased to be allowed the opportunity to serve this year as lead cook and chief bottle washer. They are excited for the opportunities to see their kids’ vision for the Kingdom increase and be a living laboratory for their personal growth in relationship with the King.
Cole Fritz and Maddison McGee
Cole and Maddison are recent graduates from Wheaton College where they met their freshman year, began dating their sophomore year, and got engaged their senior year. They will be getting married mid-summer, and are excited to begin this season of their life serving together at a place they both love. Maddison lived and worked at Sonrise with the rest of the McGee family for several years and Cole worked as a summer intern after his freshman year of college. At Wheaton, Cole studied business/economics and minored in Christian Formation and Ministry, all while coaching and playing a lot of basketball, and serving in ministry with middle school guys. Maddison studied Nursing and Christian Formation & Ministry, worked at a Christian health clinic, and worked in residence life and campus ministry. They both love adventuring together, listening to people’s stories, drinking good coffee (a black medium roast and a tall skim extra-hot vanilla latte – just guess who drinks which), doing crossfit together, and helping to make the truth of the Gospel come alive for kids and youth.
Josh Feliscuzo is a student at Westmont College and is majoring in Communication Studies. He is from Orange County, California. Three of his passions are singing, eating, and binge-watching. An important thing that one of his Com professors taught him was that to be a good communicator, a person has to be others-centered. He has worked as a camp counselor, and also enjoyed working on campus at Westmont his sophomore year. He is really excited to see how God will work in his life and in others’ lives this summer.
Noelle Marsan will be a junior attending Wheaton College next year. She is majoring in sociology with a focus in social work.
